Unfortunately, Daily DIY will no longer be posting daily news. This is my first post on the blog since May, and I have found it hard to keep up with. The website will not be taken down, so if you want to go back and look at it, you may, but as of today, there will be no more posts unless I decide to get started with it again.

Did you know that the DIY Headquarters is located in California? Did you know that California is currently facing a drought? They need your help in solving the California water crisis! Design a solution that helps people be more aware of our water usage or something that makes it easier to make clean water! You will have until May 26 to share a video or drawing of your invention. Be sure to describe exactly what it does either in the video or in the comments. Share your submissions with #savecalifornia. Good luck! More information about the contest is provided in this video. For every skill you invent, you will need to create the patch artwork for it and come up with at least three challenge ideas. The DIY Staff will pick their top ten favorites, and the DIY community will vote and pick the best three out of those. Those will eventually become skills. With just a pile of paper, some thread, and a dab of glue, we create masterpieces that last for years." DIY Camps are year-round camps that fit around your schedule; they have awesome counselors who are great at what they do. There are several awesome camps, such as Minecraft Adventure Camp, Beginning Acting Camp, Zombie Survival Camp, and Comic Book Camp.
